Adam Wood is the Founder, President, and CEO of Autism and Faith, Inc. Adam is also an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene, Lead Pastor of PaxNaz (Paxton, Illinois), and a student of psychology, holding an Associate of Arts in Psychology (Christian Counseling) from Liberty University and currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Psychology with a Minor in Autism. Adam was also diagnosed with ADHD at a young age.
Most importantly, Adam is the father of Klayton, who is an 8-year-old boy that was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2 when he was 2 years old. Klayton is the inspiration behind the mission of Autism and Faith, Inc.
Carrie Stimson is a District Licensed Minister on the Chicago Central District Church of the Nazarene and currently works as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Familes at PaxNaz (Paxton, Illinois). Aside from these ministry roles, Carrie is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the mental health field who has experience in crisis counseling and much more. Carrie holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Olivet Nazarene University.
Carrie and her husband Buck reside on a very comfortable 40-acres where they have raised 4 successful children.
Lisa Palinski is in her 25th year of teaching 4th Grade at Mark Denman Elementary School in Danville, Illinois. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2000 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and in 2005 with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
In her "off-time," Lisa loves to serve wherever she is needed at Danville First Church of the Nazarene, spend time with her family, and cuddle with her dog, Sydney.
Susan Hanson has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for several years, currently employed with the Iroquois Memorial Hospital (IMH) health system, based in Watseka, Illinois. In more recent years, Susan has gained more experience with walking families through Autism diagnoses and finding resources for services. She graduated from Parkland College in 1995 with an Associate's in Nursing, before moving on to Chamberlain College for her Bachelor's in Nursing and Indiana State University for her Master's in Nursing.
Susan resides in rural Illinois with her husband, Kevin. They love spending time with kids, grandkids, and their chickens!
